Bude Holiday Resort is set just back from the National Trust Coastline and with its own private access to the South West Coastal Path, making it a wonderful place to book a break or holiday so you can relax and absorb the sights of North Cornwall. The picturesque town of Bude – named the UK’s Best Coastal Town in the British Travel Awards 2015, is within easy reach by foot or by car. Find the beautiful beaches of Crooklets and Summerleaze, Bude’s own Sea Pool and discover incredible places to eat out close by.
On the park there is a heated outdoor pool (open in the summer season), adventure playground, amusement arcade, convenience store, diner and launderette. Nightly family friendly entertainment featuring our cuddly mascot Surfing Sami starts from Easter weekend and continues until the end of October. We also host a 12 owners month season, so you can holiday with us anytime of the year! Please note: Reception may be closed over the Christmas period.
In the area, choose from exploring historic houses to surfing big swells, and cycling to crazy golf. The charming haven of Bude has something for everyone. You’ll find everything you need to make your holiday unforgettable. Our resort is jam-packed with things to do, from a magical summer entertainment schedule to an outdoor pool to dive right into. Whatever the weather, we’re on hand to create memories that last a lifetime!
Tucked into a quiet part of Bude Holiday Resort, our heated outdoor swimming pool is perfect for everyone to enjoy. With steps easy for the little ones to tip toe down, the pool is open usually between May and Mid September, subject to weather.
Newly refurbished in 2014, our club house bar provides a welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy. Grab a drink and relax playing pool in the daytime, or be seated for our nightly entertainment on-stage in the evening (between Easter and the end October). Free Wi-Fi is available in the bar.
Treat yourself to a meal out on the resort with the family in the Beachcomber’s Diner and Takeaway. Sit back and relax whilst we cook up a simple, tasty hot meal or two for you, or alternatively you can place an order to take out.
Right next door to the Atlantic Bar is our amusement arcade. There’s fun and games aplenty inside, so the younger ones can spend those coppers ‘til their heart’s content!
New for 2014 and located amidst the green meadows of our touring and camping area, the adventure playground has been designed for entertaining children in the great outdoors! There’s plenty of slides, swings and frames for them to clamber on in Bude’s glorious summer sunshine.
Stocked with all your holiday essentials, our on-site mini-market is sure to have everything you need during your stay. If you’d like a bigger store, Sainsbury’s is just a three minute drive down the road!
Our self-service laundrette is open every day, should you need to do any laundry during your stay. There are coin operated washing machines and tumble dryers inside, as well as a sink area for hand-washing items.
It’s 2016 and our biggest year yet. With dazzling costumes, fun activities, prizes to be won ranging from a posh bottle of vino to a glamping break for two, our new nightly shows presented by the entertainment teams are supported by our cuddly mascot Surfing Sami. Please note that our entertainment schedules can vary depending on the time of year.
Move over boys, and make way for our very own Project Soul Sisters! An exciting and engaging comeback to our popular show from last year: Project Blues Brothers. The girls are taking to the stage for a soul, Motown and blues set full of classic tracks.
Roll up, roll up, for an alternative circus themed show, which is much more than a typical circus show. Larger then life characters are sure to keep you entertained as the ringmaster takes center stage to bring the cast of colourful characters to glide through the audience and get you to join in.
This concert style production takes you on a sporadic journey through the decades, with amazing vocals, commercial routines and some of the most inspiring popular and sing a longs. It’s an ultimate celebration of great decades in one show.
Sami the surfing bear is back from his travels and so excited to be in Cornwall again! Look out for Sami on the resort and join in with his nightly discos and family activities. Join our ever so fun mascot Surfing Sami for games and dancing for all the family, from the little ones to Mum, Dad, Gran and Granddad.
Inspiring painters, photographers and visitors alike, Bude’s beaches are truly breathtaking. At Summerleaze Beach you will find lots of colourful fishing boats and beach huts, as well as one of the very few tidal swimming pools which still remains open to the general public today. Crooklets Beach offers a huge expanse of golden sand and rock pools and is popular with surfers of all abilities. A few miles out of town you’ll find even more beach delights such as Northcott Mouth, Widemouth Bay and Sandymouth.

For a day of history, beauty and magic visit Tintagel Castle. Situated in a wonderful location, high on the rugged North Cornwall coast, the Castle offers dramatic views, and its fascinating ruins and stunning beach cafe make it a perfect day trip. With a history stretching as far back as the Romans, Tintagel Castle is one of the most iconic visitor attractions in the South West.

A part of Bude’s history as a seaside resort, Bude Sea Pool is a must-visit during your stay. Created in the 1930s, part man-made and part natural environment, Bude Sea Pool is an incredible part of Bude to uncover. Enjoy a blissful swim amongst the cliffs and bathe in the sunlight at this unique spot. Admission is unrestricted and completely free.

The local area is brilliant for walks and bike rides through the countryside and along the coast. Our resort has a private path leading onto the South West Coastal Path where you can then begin your journey. Watch this space for a downloadable walking and bike riding guide.
Take a stroll beside or paddle along the historic Bude Canal. Stop off at the local Tourist Information Centre and head to the Canal where you can hire a canoe, kayak, pedaloe, or bike for you and your family. The level towpath makes the Canal ideal for wheelchair users and pushchairs and you can discover all sorts of wildlife and nature as you make your way down the Canal.

Bude Castle is ideal for anyone eager to learn Bude’s rich heritage, geology, natural history and local art. Built in 1830 by inventor Sir Goldsworthy Gurney, today it is the ideal space for you to discover all there is to know about Bude and the surrounding area. From shipwrecks, Gurney’s inventions, the town’s history to local artwork, it’s a great day out with the family.

The Cornish Ice Cream Cafe is Bude’s original ice cream cafe parlour and has the best selection of Cornish ice creams Bude has to offer. In the heart of town, try from a huge selection of flavours and take a seat outside in the sun. If you’re feeling adventurous try their incredible Belgium waffles or pancakes topped with ice cream, chocolate sauce and maple syrup.

For a family day out filled with space-themed adventures, head to North Devon’s Milky Way theme park. Ride the Cosmic Typhoon roller coaster, go wild on the assault courses and slides inside the indoor play area, and kick back to watch some amazing magic shows and animal displays. With one of the biggest children’s play zones in the South West spread over six fun-packed floors, there’s endless fun to be had.
